Brookhaven Medical Inc. Names Scott Jones Chief Operating Officer
Atlanta, Georgia – July 11, 2016 – Brookhaven Medical today announced that Scott Jones has been named as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Brookhaven Medical, Inc., effective immediately. As COO, Jones will have responsibility for the business development, product development, and marketing functions for the Company, as well as responsibility for the Company’s subsidiary, Brookhaven Technologies, Inc., located in Athens, TX. He will report directly to the Chairman and CEO John Feltman.

Jones brings a diverse background in business development, M&A, strategy, product development, and manufacturing to the Company. Over his 20-year career, Jones has led strategic initiatives in multiple clinical segments, including gynecology, urology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, orthopedic, vascular and portable medical markets. Prior to joining the Company, Jones founded MedaStrat, LLC., a boutique M&A consulting practice focused in the medical device arena. Prior to MedaStrat, he was the Executive Director of Business Development for Greatbatch, Inc. (NYSE: GB) where he had responsibility for the portable medical and vascular business development portfolios. From 2003 to 2010, Jones held several leadership positions with C.R. Bard, Inc. (NYSE: BCR). He was Director, Corporate Business Development where he facilitated the corporate business development transaction process. Prior to joining the corporate business development team, he was the Director of Business Development for Bard Urological where he was responsible for all M&A activity for the division. From 2003 to 2005, Jones developed and led the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering function for Bard Urological.
Jones holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University.
Brookhaven Medical Inc. names Marc Morin CFO
Atlanta-based medical device company Brookhaven Medical Inc. named Marc Morin its CFO. From June 2013 to December 2015, Morin served as global controller of EndoChoice Holdings (NYSE: GI) and helped take the company public in June 2015. He oversaw all finance, accounting, treasury and tax functions at EndoCHoice and helped it raise over $200 million in debt and equity financing, including $100 million in its initial public offering.
Before working with EndoChoice, Morin was in public accounting with KPMG. He has an MBA from Emory University, a masters of acccounting degree from Georgia State University and a bachelors of accounting degree from St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vt.
Morin will succeed Ross Dedeyn as CFO of Brookhaven Medical, a pre-IPO developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical technologies. The company's CEO is John Feltman.
